This Christmas, I'll decorate my tree.

I'll look at the ornaments.

I'll remember.

And I'll probably miss him more than I can put into words.

But I'll also smile.

Because Christmas was something he helped make special.

And no matter how much time passes, he'll always be part of my Christmases.

The holidays aren't created overnight. They're built through little moments all year long—a new ornament that reminds you of a special memory, discovering a family heirloom at an antique shop, or finding the perfect ribbon for your tree.

I see ornaments that remind me of decorating with my family, Christmases spent at my Mommom’s home, and the excitement of opening boxes that had been packed away for eleven months.

One of my favorite memories was being allowed to turn his red nose and listen to him play music.

Celebrating Christmas throughout the year isn't about wishing time away. It's about holding onto the joy, nostalgia, and memories that make the season special.
