The Santa That Lived at Mommom's House

Some Christmas decorations are valuable because of what they cost. Others are valuable because of the memories they hold.

One of my most treasured decorations is a Santa that belonged to my grandmother. He had been part of our family's Christmas celebrations since the 1960s, and as a child, I remember being fascinated by him.

One of my favorite memories was being allowed to turn his red nose and listen to him play music. Last Christmas, my grandmother gifted him to me, and today he remains one of the most meaningful pieces in my collection.

Every time I see him, I'm reminded that the best Christmas decorations aren't always the rarest. They're the ones connected to the people we love.
